The Strathpeffer Community Council is in Ward 6 : Wester Ross, Strathpeffer and Lochalsh, one of 22 Ward in the Highland area and is served by 4 councillors:

The Ward has a population of 11,454 with the main centres being Ullapool, Kyle of Lochalsh, Strathpeffer, Lochcarron and Gairloch.
As Ward Manager, Robbie Bain's role is to ensure the efficient delivery of services within the ward and work with other agencies and community groups to maximise available funds. He will also administer the local Ward Forum, which will comprise the four ward councillors as well as a representative from the police and community partners.
